USA Video Interactive's StreamHQ™ Begins Operational Beta Testing

Mystic, Connecticut, September 10, 2001 -USA Video Interactive (OTCBB: USVO; CDNX: US; BSE: USF; www.usvo.com) announced today that its StreamHQ™ architecture is installed and fully operational at AT&T's midtown Manhattan Internet Data Center and that Beta testing of the system is in progress. Beta testing comprises a series of operational assessments in which Zmail™ delivery is validated as an end-to-end process and various system features, such as security, load capacity, and fail-over are assessed under controlled test conditions. The initial internal Beta test allows the USVO staff to evaluate the technical performance of the system, including email administration, media streaming, web delivery, and transaction data collection and management. The internal test is then followed by a Zmail™ distribution to a pre-selected group of non-company testers representing a variety of geographic locations, connectivity modes, viewing parameters, and testing experience levels. This external test further evaluates operations under more varied and challenging test conditions. Upon the completion of the Beta testing and any required system updates, StreamHQ™ will be available to support client services.
