COLUMBINE ANNIVERSARY PRESSING OF HEALING CD FUNDED BY USA VIDEO INTERACTIVE AND DISTRIBUTED BY MUSICLAND NATIONALLY
Monday, 20 March 2000
DENVER - March 20, 2000 - Lullaby for Columbine,: Love Endures, the compilation CD project whose proceeds go to the victims of the Columbine tragedy, today announced national distribution in early April through all Musicland outlets across the United States, made possible with generous support from USA Video Interactive (OTCBB: USVO; CDNX: US; www.usvo.com), who donated the funds necessary for the CD's second pressing. April 20th is the anniversary of the tragic shootings at Columbine High School in Colorado. All proceeds of the $11.95 compilation CD go to the Friend of Mine Fund to support the families and to stop school violence.

"With our focus on education and with the continuing prevalence of violence and threats of violence in our schools, we felt compelled to help. We are impressed with the powerful message and the healing power this CD contains," said Edwin Molina, President of USA Video Interactive. "By lending our support to enable the second pressing, we are helping people nationwide to heal and make a difference."

The CD, which retails for $11.95, and the poster, for $20.00, will be available the second week of April at all Musicland stores nationwide including Sam Goody, MediaPlay, and OnCue stores. It is also currently available online at www.Columbinecd.com. The CD's 17 tracks include such national and local artists as Adrian Belew, Rick Altizer, The Cohen brothers, and students from Littleton and Arapahoe high schools.

All proceeds go to the Friend of Mine Fund, a 501(c)3 established by the producer of the Cohen brother's song, Jason Hickman. Poster art donated by Star Wars artist Drew Struzan.

Lullaby for Columbine is a volunteer-organized project made possible through in-kind donations by the following people and businesses: USA Video Interactive, Musicland, Sony Disc Manufacturing, National Digital Television Center, Art for the Heart Foundation, Penguin Digital, Inc, Barnhart/CMI Interactive, Summit Communication Design, James Baca, Drew Struzan, Image Printing, Tamburello Media Group (TMG) and Richard Gabriel, Karen Leaffer, and John Postumus of Holmes, Roberts & Owen.
