USVO’s MediaSentinel is an integrated anti-piracy device for use in modern video production environments. MediaSentinel 3.0 embeds invisible, unremovable SmartMarks—invisible forensic information in every video frame—without compromising video quality. MediaSentinel enables you to include forensic data in video content: information about ownership, production or post-production, time and date, usage rules, or other information for increased traceability and piracy deterrence. SmartMarks are virtually impossible to remove and survive a wide variety of conversions and attacks. MediaSentinel complements other content protection methods that are used in distribution, such as Digital Rights Management or encryption (scrambling).

MediaSentinel is compatible with current state-of-the-art post-production master duplication systems and processes using serial digital interface (SDI), including Sony Digibeta.
